I am a final-year student in the Fine Art MFA program, and my artistic journey explores the concept of "home" - What is home? Where is home? Who is home? I delve into the depths of human emotion and experience, drawing inspiration from the complexities of life. I also research themes of temporality, movement, the unknown, and relocation. My work is rooted in personal experiences and the everyday, often reflecting autobiographical moments and spaces of transition. Through mixed-media installations, I aim to spark meaningful dialogue, offering a mirror to our collective consciousness.
During my Bachelor's, I was awarded the Fine Art Ambition Award for my use of sustainability, a practice I have carried forward into my Master's. I embrace sustainability by incorporating found objects into my work, even going dumpster diving to uncover hidden treasures.
My aim in life is to become an art teacher in colleges around the globe, where I can share my passion for creativity and inspire students to explore their artistic potential. I aim to broaden my own understanding of global art movements while helping others appreciate the value of art in different societies.
